Dr. Daniel Borrero
Dr. Daniel Borrero, known to his patients as Dr. Dan, grew up in Ponce, Puerto Rico, surrounded by beaches, mountains, and adventure. From an early age, he loved both science and creativity, and dentistry became the perfect way to bring those two passions together.
After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University, Dr. Dan’s career took him from private practice in Puerto Rico to serving Hopi and Diné, Navajo, communities through the Indian Health Service in Arizona.
It was there that he discovered what he loved most about dentistry, helping children.
For Dr. Dan, there is nothing more rewarding than helping a nervous child feel safe, comfortable, and proud of themselves. That passion led him to complete specialized pediatric dental training at the University of Minnesota and dedicate his career to caring for kids and their families.
After years of practicing pediatric dentistry, Dr. Dan was looking for a place where relationships, trust, and exceptional patient experiences came first. He found that at Oakmont Kids Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Dan believes pediatric dentistry is about so much more than healthy teeth. It is about earning a child’s trust, supporting parents, celebrating little victories, and creating positive dental experiences that can last a lifetime.
